Presented at the 9th Annual San Diego Film Awards (2023)
Synopsis
The story of three young girls trapped in a sea cave filled with crashing waves, hundreds of sea lions, and fearsome elephant seals. I was surprised at how good this film was.
Nature scenes from the National Geographic appeared outside as well
My entire family, including my wife, two 8-year-old girls, and a 6-year-old son, were completely blown away by this film. We started by mentioning that the camera work and sound design looked really creative.
There were places that made us laugh and cry
I thought all three young actresses did a great job. It was legitimately shocking to finally find out that this was a family production.
A fascinating family story with some style
I think it’s better than some (most) professional products I’ve seen lately. I don’t really understand some of these negative reviews – some read like they were written by unhappy, negative people.
Overall, we enjoyed it
The movie dragged a little, but my kids were saying something the whole time.
