Call Mickey Haller
Synopsis
Need a lawyer? He runs his law firm out of his Lincoln and is ready to put his foot on the gas.
Now, it has been picked up by Netflix for a 10-episode first season based on Mickey Haller’s second book, The Brass Verdict
As he moves around Los Angeles, he handles affairs while also juggling a personal life that includes fatherhood and the existence of two ex-wives. Originally slated with CBS for a series commitment in 2020, the series was canceled due to COVID shortly before the first episode began filming.
Mentioned in Shrine of Telly: Week 3 (2022)
Mickey Haller has several cars, all with personalized California license plates with legal terms on them. Personalized California license plates allow a maximum of seven letters/numbers, but all Mickey plates have a minimum of eight.
(Maybe I’d change it again, but I’m generally stingy with this stuff)
For those of us who like legal/police/detective stories, this was perfect. I couldn’t stop watching it and was sorely tempted to give it an even higher star rating…
I don’t understand why there are bad reviews
Overall, everything I’ve read or seen by Michael Connelly has been very good. I look forward to more Lincoln Lawyer series.
