Synopsis

A retired CIA agent is haunted by both the agency he once worked for and his own nightmares when an unknown man suddenly visits him after nearly three decades. Production ceased in March 2020 due to government restrictions. During this time, Jeff Bridges was diagnosed and later treated for non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. After recovering, the series went back into production. Bridges referred to the return as coming back after a « long weekend » in a podcast in July 2022. Presented at the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards (2024). I watched this miniseries by Jeff Bridges and John Lithgow. They have never disappointed, but the plot and screenplay have. Much of the plot was riddled with holes, and the supporting cast often seemed suffocated. A thriller like this should never leave the audience bored at times. Unfortunately, this happened to me.
