Elite -1: Why is B gagged?
Synopsis
The untold origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, better known as sworn enemies who were once friends, united as brothers who forever changed the fate of Cybertron. See the actors behind some of your favorite animated films and series, including Brian Tyree Henry in Transformers One. Megatron’s original name D-16 refers to the Japanese serial number of the original Generation 1 Megatron toy released by Takara in 1984. The letter D is short for Destron, the Japanese name for the Decepticons used in older media, while the number 16 referred to the original Megatron toy as the sixteenth release in the Japanese toy line. When the Iacon 5000 participants transform for the race, the purple Transformer jet already has a pair of red light effects floating behind him, attached to nothing, before he transforms into a jet.
Shockwave: He didn’t stop talking
Elita -1: Even when he was unconscious? Shockwave: ESPECIALLY when he was unconscious!. There are two scenes worth lingering for during the credits. One is mid-credits featuring Badassitron, and the other is Megatron at the end of the credits.. Several international releases of the film (including the UK) have been edited to cut out Orion’s « finger transformation » a few seconds earlier, as well as changing any mentions of Bee’s « knife hands » to call them « sword hands » instead.
It’s likely that Paramount rough-edited the film for said territories

I never expected an animated film to be this good! I wanted to watch it for the nostalgia and it did. There were no characters that I found annoying or unlikable…
And Scarlet Johansson as Elite was fantastic
they were all amazing and fun to watch on the big screen! The plot was amazing and the pacing was just perfect. There wasn’t a single wasted second and the story moved along quite quickly without sacrificing the necessary character arcs. I loved Chris Hemsworth’s voice acting – who would have thought Thor would be great as Optimus Prime? Jon Hamm was definitely suited to the role of Sentinel, but Key was definitely the scene stealer as B, aka Bumblebee!
Definitely worth watching
I miss Saturday morning cartoons and this really brought back memories of the good old days of the 80s.
